Roland Wigman

Roland knows everything about film law and film copyright. After a brief career as a film producer, he has been assisting film producers, film financiers, film distributors and creators for more than 33 years. Both nationally and internationally.
As a lawyer, Roland knows the entire legal and financial playing field involved in a film production inside out. He translates this broad legal knowledge into pragmatic and clear advice. Roland is a valuable sparring partner for his clients. Roland has worked with almost all of his clients for years.
Additional activities
Alongside his work as a lawyer, Roland teaches law at the Netherlands Amsterdam Film Academy and film law at the Mr. S.K. Martens Academie, the specialisation programme for experienced lawyers. In addition, Roland is regularly invited as a speaker at a range of events in the field of film law. Roland is the author of the books ‘Film voor de rechter’ and ‘Boek voor de rechter’ and co-author of ‘Transparantie over exploitatiecontracten'.

- Advising on all facets of copyright in a national and international context and guiding, preventing or, where necessary, conducting legal proceedings in the case of justified or unjustified claims relating to copyright.
